TORONTO eats.

11/22/2015

The one thing I miss and love about Toronto is the FOOD.
Any cuisine or fusion you possible want or imagine of, Toronto probably has a restaurant for that.
Food lover, food critic - whatever you may be.
This is a blog post for you.

Harlem Underground - Old town Toronto

The Dirty Bird - Kensington Market.

A small rustic-feel shop with a line out the door but worth the wait.. Known for its chicken and waffles while some may think the combination of waffle and fried chicken is strange. However, possibly the best thing ever. It's sweet and savory! Fellow Canadians, lets be real. Everything is better with maple syrup so why not.

 Sweet Jesus - Entertainment District.

Edgy industrial style ice cream parlor and expression shop with various toppings for what we commonly think of as simple soft serve. Giving it a creative twist. So having ice cream in the cold Canadian winter is not such a bad idea.

Kinton Ramen -Toronto

Over the past few years, ramen restaurants has definitely taken over Toronto.
With many competition throughout the city, this has to be my favourite.
Essentially gives you the opportunity to build your own bowl of Ramen.
A good go-to also it is conveniently located in the core of Toronto.
Shoyu Pork shoulder ramen
Wasabi octopus salad with nori

Qi Sushi -Regent Park

Tuna Tataki

Mildred Temple Kitchen - Liberty Village, Toronto

This sleek and modern space is home to the most delicious pancakes I have ever tasted.
Light, fluffy and melts in your mouth kind of pancakes.
Usually comes in a towering 3 pancakes however, I only had room for a side order.
Mildred's Temple Kitchen is definitely worth a visit whether you hang around Liberty Village or not.

Fig's - Old Town Toronto

Cutest brunch spot on Parliament Street, truly a hidden gem.
Offers a wide-range of options from the standard breakfast - Belgium waffles - pancakes - French toast - omelettes - benedicts. They just have it all.
the ultimate hangover breakfast.
Cutest brunch location on Parliament street.

King's Noodle -Chinatown

This restaurant will always bring me the feeling of nostalgia.
With every visit to Chinatown as a child, we always ended up here.
Bowl of endless noodles with delicious in-house bbq meats from duck, chicken, pork...
BBQ meat lovers' heaven.
Fellow Torontonians, any restaurants worth checking out.
