Vienna: experience the coffee culture

1/27/2015

Vienna, Austria

Oh, Vienna! City of the most expensive eggs and fur everything. Nonetheless, down every street and alleyways are the most beautiful sculpted buildings.

Top things to do while in Vienna:

I.

City of numerous café, hard to visit this city and not step feet into one.
Go to a cafés of your choice throughout the city and enjoy yourself a coffee and various choice of delicious cakes and tortes.

Mozart Cafe

Aida Cafe
Vienna's specialty "Sacher Torte"

 II.

Hotel Sacher, the home of the best 'sacher torte' in all of the city. Not only that they claim to be the maker of sacher torte but also, the most expensive. Ranging from 25-50€.
However, can't say its worth it.
I personally rather spend 3€ on a slice than 25-50€ for an entire cake.

III.

Hofburg, palace to Austria's imperial residence with wings and halls.
It is an unbelievable site to see with very fine detailing.
I love the European architecture. With every steps feels like you're through history.

IV.

St. Stephan Cathedral, wouldn't be Europe if there were no cathedrals to roam through.
A beautifully architected gothic-style cathedral with details running from the floor to the top.
It was hard to capture the beauty of it due to the low lighting.

V.

Schonbrunn meaning 'beautiful spring'.
A summer palace home for the imperial residences.
Only way is UP!

Waiting for my next stop.

Its time for the next adventure, Paris!
